A Love Letter to Family Heritage
This project explores the way in which heritage is transported through objects. Inspired by the movements of Arts and Crafts, and Studio Pottery. Creating a deeply personal collection of pottery. This project is truly a visualization of the things I value, storytelling and making, and their intersection with wider contexts. Using family heirlooms, traditions and stories as a base to create objects with roots and heritage. How do different cultures come together in a non-homogenized way? This project is rooted in a lot of research on the different cultures my family has. As well as first hand research through family heirlooms and artifacts and interviews.
